One of the key factors in our Success is Heraeus becoming a leader in diverse, high technology product lines internationally. Decades ago, the company pursued the goal of broad-based global activity in Europe, the United States and Asia. The first steps in our international presence were taken throughout the various divisions in the early 1950s with forays into the US market. The world’s largest economy in the United States is now one of the Group’s most important markets.

All of the Heraeus business groups have subsidiaries in the United States. Almost 1,800 employees work at Heraeus facilities all across the country, contributing some 400 Million Euros (13.7 percent) to the Group’s product revenues. From the automotive industry to semiconductors, electronics and steel, and to chemistry, dentistry and medicine, many industries of the future rely on state-of-the-art technology from Heraeus.

In the United States, just as elsewhere, Heraeus gives top priority to staying in close touch with the market and our customers. The outstanding focus on customers in their own setting makes it possible for Heraeus to respond quickly and flexibly to individual customer needs and new market developments.
