“Be part of it!” This motto reveals an important part of the Heraeus corporate culture. Employees are involved in shaping the future of our company. At the same time, the statement summarizes our goal in conducting the survey: To create an ideal platform for employees to express opinions and expectations directly to Heraeus management.
The employee opinion survey in 2008 had a very good response rate of 74%. This figure underscores our atmosphere of trust, one in which employees can openly and honestly express their opinions.
The survey results were analyzed by the independent research institute infas. The results reflect a positive overall picture. A total of 78% of the employees are satisfied or very satisfied with their jobs. This high job satisfaction level at the Heraeus Group can be first and foremost attributed to employee identification with the company: 75% of the employees are very proud to work at Heraeus.
The results are being used to drive changes and improvements at Heraeus. In the workshops being held to translate the survey results into action, you have the opportunity to engage in constructive dialog with your colleagues and supervisors to identify strengths and weaknesses. To develop concrete measures for improvement and put these into practice as a team. That means to actively shape the future of Heraeus.
